Rams Head

Rams Head is a 2,190 meter high mountain in Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales . It is the fourth highest mountain on mainland Australia . It is located in the Great Dividing Range in the Snowy Mountains and forms part of the Ramshead Range . The mountain is about 4 kilometers from the ski resort of Thredbo . From the top of the mountain there is a panoramic view of the neighboring mountains. Next to the mountain are South Rams Head , Etheridge Ridge, Mount Kosciuszko , Rams Head Range High Point, Byatts Camp Peak, and Mount Northcote .

The Alpine Way passes not far from Rams Head. Rams Head is a destination for hikers and skiers.
