Ramy Saeed Mohamed el-Mahdy (born January 24, 1992 ) is an Egyptian athlete who specializes in the 110-meter hurdles .

Athletic career

Ramy el-Mahdy gained his first international experience in 2009 at the World Youth Championships in Bressanone , but did not reach the finish line in the run-up. The following year he took part in the Junior World Championships in Moncton , but also retired there with 14.36 s in the first round. In 2018 he finished eighth at the African Championships in Asaba in 14.46 s and in 2019 he finished sixth at the Arab Championships in Cairo in 14.35 s and then finished sixth at the African Games in Rabat with 14.27 s.

In 2016, 2018 and 2019 el-Mahdy became Egyptian champion in the 110-meter hurdles.
