Rangsan Viwatchaichok ( Thai : รังสรรค์ วิวัฒน์ ชัย โชค , born January 22, 1979 in Saraburi ) was a Thai soccer player who was under contract for the first division club Suphanburi FC until 2017 .

He has been a coach at Police Tero FC since 2018 .

Career as a player

Rangsan's career began in the youth division of Thailand Tobacco Monopoly FC . In 1999 he moved to the first team and played there for two more years. With the club he was promoted to the Thai Premier League . There followed an interplay from club to club. He went first to FC Krung Thai Bank , then back to his old club and again to Krung Thai Bank. He then played for FC Bangkok Bank for two years . There he came to 26 missions. In 2006 he moved to Geylang United in the S-League for two years . In 53 games for the club, he scored six goals as a defender . He then returned to Thailand and played for PEA from 2008 to 2011 . Together with the club he was champion of the Thai Premier League and took part in the AFC Cup in 2009 with the club . In 2012 he moved to BEC-Tero Sasana FC . He was on the field 112 times for the club and scored 16 goals. In mid-2016, he went to league rivals Suphanburi FC . By the end of 2017, he played 17 times for Suphanburi. At the end of 2017 he ended his active career as a footballer.

National team

For the national team, Rangsan was probably in the squad for the first time in 2004. So he took part in a friendly against Newcastle United in Bangkok . In the same year he was in the squad of the team that took part in the finals of the 2004 Asian Football Championship . In the group game against Oman , he scored in his own goal to make it 0-1. The game ended 0-2. Most recently Rangsan was in the squad of the ASEAN soccer championships in 2008 and reached the final with the national team.
