Status: end of career

Ranisav Jovanović (born November 5, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German - Serbian soccer player and soccer coach .

Career

Jovanović began his career in 1987 at Spandauer SV , for whom he played until December 1998. The next stations were Tasmania Neukölln (1998-2000) and Tennis Borussia Berlin (2000-2002). Then he left Berlin and signed a contract with Dynamo Dresden , where he stayed until 2004 and Dynamo scored in the 2003/04 season with his goal to 1-0 against Neumünster for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. Then he moved to Mainz.

The striker played a total of 16 Bundesliga games and one game in the DFB Cup for 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the 2004/05 season . After Jovanović was hardly used in the first half of the 2005/06 season, he moved to second division LR Ahlen on loan until the end of the season . After the relegation of LR Ahlen from the 2nd Bundesliga and his return to Mainz, Jovanović was initially considered a candidate for removal, who was only allowed to stay with the FSV due to the lack of strikers. In the course of the first half of the 2006/07 season , the attacker scored his first two Bundesliga goals and was used in 26 of the 34 season games, but almost always had to be satisfied with the joker role. After the Mainz team was relegated, Jovanović was also rarely in the starting line-up. Despite a strong preparation for the second division season 2007/08, in which Jovanović showed a good performance in friendly matches, he did not manage to repeat this in point games. In his 13 appearances, he failed to score.

For the 2008/09 season Jovanović moved to the then third division Fortuna Düsseldorf ; he signed a two-year contract. At Fortuna, Jovanović immediately became a regular player and with eight goals in his first season was significantly involved in the promotion of his team to the 2nd Bundesliga. Since he was still a fixture even after promotion, Jovanović extended his contract, which was running out at the end of the season, until 2012. In the following years, however, Jovanović fell into a period of weakness characterized by injuries, in which he did not score a competitive game for almost two years scored. He ended this series in November 2011 with the 2-1 winning goal against his ex-club Dynamo Dresden. In the Bundesliga relegation in May 2012, Jovanović scored the decisive opening goal in the second leg to make it 2-1 for Fortuna Düsseldorf. The game ended 2-2, so the promotion was perfect.

For the 2012/13 season Jovanović moved to the then second division club MSV Duisburg on a free transfer . By the demotion of MSV his contract was invalid, in which he for the 2013/14 season for SV Sandhausen changed. He signed a contract until June 30, 2015 with an option for another year, which was also withdrawn. In the summer of 2016, the FSV Frankfurt signed him for two years. After a year he left the club.

End of October 2018 Jovanović coach of the Oberliga side SC Dusseldorf-West . After the 2018/19 season he was relegated with the team to the Niederrhein regional league and was replaced by Marcel Bastians at the end of June 2019.

He then became responsible for press work at the newly opened Paris Saint-Germain football academy in Oberhausen.
