The Ranuli-Piedmont Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Ранули lednik Ranuli ) is a south-southeast-north-northwestern extension 13.5 km long and 5.1 km wide foreland glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . On the east side of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, it drains the eastern slopes of the Barnes Ridge and feeds the Rutford Ice Current in an east-northeast direction , the Young Glacier to the north and the Ellen Glacier to the south .
American scientists mapped it in 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2012 after the ancient town of Ranuli in southeastern Bulgaria .
