Raphael von Weinzierl

Raphael Joseph Xaver Anton von Weinzierl (born December 11, 1782 in St. Peter , † August 17, 1864 in Säckingen ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Raphael von Weinzierl, son of a senior magistrate and Schwarzenberg secret council, studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1805 he was the founder of Suevia I in Heidelberg . As a senior at Suevia, he fought a pistol duel with Carl August Buchholz, who later became diplomat and syndic of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck . After graduating, he entered the civil service of the Grand Duchy of Baden . In 1816 he became a bailiff and administrator of the Schönau district office . In 1819 he was Executive Office of the Staff Office Jestetten , where he 1830 bailiff was promoted. In 1831 he moved to the district office of Säckingen as a board member . There he remained in office until his retirement in 1846.
