The summit can be reached as a sure-footed mountain tour (UIAA I to II) from Hinterriß via the Rontal (ascent time: approx. 3:00 hours, descent time: approx. 2:00 hours, approx. 910 meters in altitude). From the summit, it is possible to continue to the Wechselkopf .
