The place is about five kilometers southeast of Fraunberg.

Architectural monuments

In the village there is the church of St. Stephanus, a late Gothic hall church with a pointed helmet tower; the tower substructure is late Romanesque (13th / 14th century). In 1765 Johann Baptist Lethner added the side chapel and sacristy; In 1670 the church was redesigned in Baroque style by Hans Kogler .

The rectory was built in 1828 as a gable roof with eaves cornice.

The former schoolhouse was built in 1904 by Johann Baptist Schott in a neo-baroque style with Art Nouveau motifs.
