Sophie Oksche (born March 15, 1995 in Kühbach ) is a German rower .

Athletic career

Sophie Oksche was sixth at the Junior World Championships in 2012 with the four-man without a helmsman . At the Junior World Championships in 2013 she won bronze in this boat class. In 2014 she rowed eighth at the U23 World Championships and also received bronze here. In 2015 she and Marisa Staelberg took sixth place in the two-man category without a helmsman . In 2016 she was sixth with eighth and in 2017 she finished fourth.

In 2018 she started in the adult class and took sixth place at the European championships and twelfth place at the world championships with the four-man without a helmsman . A year later, the foursome reached seventh place at the European Championships with a victory in the B final .

The 1.79 m tall Sophie Oksche starts for the Danube RC Ingolstadt . From 2015 to 2017 she was German champion in eighth with a racing community. In 2018 and 2019, Sophie Oksche and Alexandra Höffgen were German champions in two without a helmsman.
