Rasa Šnapštienė
Rasa Šnapštienė (born January 9, 1963 in Rumšiškės , Kaišiadorys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and has been Deputy Mayor of Kaunas Municipality since November 2016 .
Life
After graduating from college in 2003 graduated Rasa 1981-1986 Diploma Studies of industrial engineering at Kauno politechnikos institutas from 1988 to 1992 postgraduate at the Lomonosov University in Moscow . She then did her doctorate as a candidate in economics.
From 1984 to 1986 she was a laboratory assistant and from 1986 to 1988 research assistant at the KPI. From 1992 to 1998 she taught as a lecturer and from 1998 to 1999 headed the commercial department of the Kaunas faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1999 to 2000 she taught at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas and from 2000 to 2009 at the chair of public administration at the Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 2009 she headed this chair in the Faculty of Social Sciences .
She was a member of the LSDP . She has been a member of Vieningas Kaunas since 2015 . He has been a member of Kaunas City Council since 2015 .
