Rasa Leleivytė (born July 22, 1988 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2006 Rasa Leleivytė was in Francorchamps junior world champion in road racing, after she had already finished third at the World Championships in Salzburg the year before . In 2007 she was Lithuanian road racing champion and third at the European Junior Championships in Sofia . In 2008 she joined a professional team and in the same year became European road champion (youngsters). In 2009 she was again Lithuanian champion and finished fourth at the European Road Championships. She finished eighth at the 2010 UCI Road World Championships in Geelong , and ninth the following year at the World Championships in Copenhagen .

On July 18, 2012, it became known that the Lithuanian had tested positive for the doping agent EPO during a training control on June 12, 2012 . She was then temporarily suspended by the UCI World Cycling Federation and later banned for two years until July 13, 2014.

After her doping ban until 2014, Leleivytė posted some top positions in international races, but no wins. In 2018 she became Lithuanian road champion for the fourth time.
