Rashin Wurie (born December 27, 1972 in Freetown ) is a former Sierra Leonean football player .

Career

Wurie began his professional career in Belgium , where he first played for Boom FC . With Boom in 1992 he was promoted to the First Division of Belgium. After relegation in 1993 Wurie left the club and joined the second division Beerschot VAC , for which he was active until 1997. After further stations at RAEC Mons and RSC Pâturages , he moved to Germany in 2000 , where he played for the then regional league clubs Lok Altmark Stendal and Eintracht Braunschweig .

Wurie also ran for the Sierra Leonean national soccer team , with which he took part in the 1996 African Cup in South Africa and the qualification for the 1998 World Cup.
