Town hall in Chartrettes

The town hall (French: Mairie ) in Chartrettes , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built from 1911 to 1913. The town hall on Rue Georges Clemenceau originally served as a school. The building was built according to plans by the architect Baustert.

The two-storey building made of plastered quarry stone and brick for the corner blocks and window frames was the first school in the department with central heating .
