Town hall in Cannes-Écluse

The New Town Hall (French Mairie for Town Hall) in Cannes-Écluse , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was set up in a former mansion that was built in 1643. The building now used as the town hall at 67, rue Désiré-Thoison, was bought by the municipality in 1984.

The most famous resident of the house was Count Charles de Fautras, who was mayor of Cannes-Écluse from 1816 to 1830.

The two-storey building made of plastered quarry stone with seven window axes has a corner block made of stone . The one and a half hectare park is open to the public.

A local history museum has been set up in some of the rooms .
