Hohenbrunn town hall

The Hohenbrunn Town Hall is the seat of the municipal council of the Upper Bavarian community Hohenbrunn in the district of Munich . The building is registered as a monument in the Bavarian List of Monuments .

location

The town hall is in the center of Hohenbrunn at the intersection Taufkirchener Strasse / Dorfstrasse. The northern side of the eaves is on Taufkirchener Straße, the eastern gable side on Dorfstraße. The Catholic parish church is located about 25 meters south of the town hall St. Stephen . The parish center of St. Stephanus is attached to the west of the town hall.

history

The building was built in 1725 after the great village fire of 1724, which destroyed half of all Hohenbrunn houses. It served first as a rectory, later as a town hall.

architecture

The town hall is a two-story building. It also has a two-story saddle roof with dormers . A four-step flight of stairs leads up to the entrance on the east side . Slightly drilled window frames and a horizontal finish on the gable side are indicated by plaster structures.
