Olomouc Town Hall
The town hall in Olomouc , the sixth largest city in the Czech Republic and the administrative seat of the Olomouc Region , was built from the 14th century. The Town Hall on the Upper Square ( Horní náměstí in Czech ) is a protected cultural monument .

The building, which is now four-winged, encloses an inner courtyard. A bay window of the Gothic chapel of St. Hieronymus protrudes on the south side . On the east side there is a double-sided staircase with a Renaissance loggia .
Inside there are some rooms with vaulted ceilings . The large ballroom is splendidly decorated.
Town hall tower
The town hall tower was built in the 1520s. It received its current shape and height of 75 meters from 1601 to 1607.
Astronomical clock
The astronomical clock on the north facade has been redesigned several times, the last time in the 1950s.
