The town hall of Stolberg is a monument in the municipality of Südharz in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

Stolberg is a small town in the Harz Mountains that is said to have emerged from a miners' settlement. It was granted city rights before 1300. In the years 1452 to 1454 the city received today's town hall, which was increased by two half-timbered floors between 1480 and 1482. Conversions in the years 1600 (Gothic windows replaced by Renaissance windows) and 1639 (changes inside) as well as at the beginning of the 19th century (ground floor inside rebuilt) changed the overall external impression only to a minor extent. In 1724 a sundial with Stolberg's coat of arms and baroque stucco frames with guild signs on the facade were added. These guild symbols were renewed in a simplified way in 1968.

The town hall is under monument protection and is entered in the monument register with registration number 094 30303 . The size of the building shows that the city once had many more inhabitants than it does today. The double kink in the facade, which adapts to the street, and the steep, overhanging gable roof are striking. The upper floors are only accessible from the outside via a staircase that leads past the building to the right up to the town church. This saved a separate stairwell when expanding. The greatest specialty is the adaptation of the architecture to the calendar. It should have 12 doors (= months), 52 windows (= weeks) and 365 window panes. However, these figures are no longer adhered to today. So there should now be 366 windows. The Ratskeller is in the basement , the city administration is in the upper floors. A memorial for Thomas Müntzer, who was born here around 1489, has stood in front of the building since 1989 .
