Rawlinna

Rawlinna is 100 kilometers from Caiguna and about the same distance from Cocklebiddy in Western Australia . Rawlinna was founded as a railway station, the historic train station of which still exists today.

Rawlinna is the starting point of the Connie Sue Highway , a sand track, to Warburton . The place can be reached by the Trans-Australian Railway with the railway company " Great Southern Railway " and the Indian Pacific , which run between Sydney and Perth twice a week. The Great Southern Railway as well as the Indian Pacific stop at this location if requested.

There is a limestone mine not far from the village . The lime extracted in this mine is processed and used for gold extraction in Kalgoorlie-Boulder . The nearby Rawlinna Station is a sheep-raising farm on a large scale.
