Ray Middleton (athlete)
Ray Middleton (actually Raymond Christopher Middleton; born August 9, 1936 in Marylebone ) is a former British walker .
In 1962 he was disqualified at the European Athletics Championships in walking 50 km .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he came in 13th place in 50 km walking .
In 1966 he won silver in 20 miles walking for England starting at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston . At the European Championships in Budapest he was fifth in the 50 km walk.
In 1969 he finished fifth again in the 50 km walk at the European Championships in Athens .
