Ray Scott Pardue (* in Medellín , Colombia ) is an American singer, songwriter and member of the German-American band 2THEUNIVERSE .

Private life

Ray Scott Pardue was born in Medellín , Colombia and adopted as a toddler by a married couple from the United States. His talent was noticed at a young age while singing in his parish in the town of Booneville , Mississippi . He later studied singing, dance and acting at the Youth Performing Art School in Louisville , Kentucky , and later he attended the US Institute for the Performing Arts - Boston Conservatory .

Career

As a solo artist, he released a few singles. His first success was Shake it . This song was chosen as the theme song for the Viva show Dancestar in 2005 . This was followed by the presentation of his first album in Cologne's Gloria Theater . Two years later his single RunninG came out, which placed in the charts of the SWR radio. In 2009 his third single followed, which was titled Black Widow . It emerged from the collaboration of Ray Scott Pardue with Tony Reyes, Tommy Gee and Daron Jones (member of the band 112 ) in Atlanta and found recognition especially on Internet radio stations in the USA. In 2009 he founded the band 2THEUNIVERSE , whose line-up has consisted of four members since 2011.

In addition, since December 2013 Ray Scott Pardue has been a regular guest singer in the successful series Session Possible by Wolf Codera and since 2011 regularly in Cologne After 7 with the band of Faiz Mangat .

In 2014 he wrote the song Good Ole Ricky together with Sarah Nücken and Steffen Brückner from Mrs. Greenbird , which appeared on the second album Postcards recorded in Nashville and reached number 47 in the German charts.
