Margo Malowney (born August 8, 1967 in Saint John ) is a Canadian beach volleyball player .

Career

Malowney played her first international tournaments on the World Tour in 1994 and 1995 with changing partners. Her best result was ninth in the 1994 Grand Slam in Carolina with Jennifer Harkness . At the open tournament in Hermosa Beach 1995 Malowney first appeared with Barb Broen Ouellette . The duo could not achieve any top placements at first. At the Brisbane Open, Malowney / Ouellette came in 13th. Then they finished four tournaments in Brazil in 17th place. After the 13th place in Hermosa Beach they took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . There they lost in two games against Timy / Eta from Indonesia and the French duo Prawerman / Lesage and therefore had to say goodbye after the preliminary round.

Until 1998 Malowney played four tournaments on the World Tour with different partners. After finishing ninth in Busan in 1996 and 17th in Melbourne , there was twice a 37th place. In 1999 and 2000 Malowney competed with Dee MacAulay . The duo played twice in Toronto and Mexico, but dropped out early.
