Raymond Mastrotto
Raymond Mastrotto (born November 1, 1934 in Auch , France , † March 11, 1984 in Labatut (road to Bèarn )) was a French cyclist .
As an amateur he won the Route de France twice , in 1955 he started for France for the first time at the UCI Road World Championships and was classified 20th in the individual race. In 1958 he started the International Peace Tour and won the stage from Berlin to Leipzig ; in the overall ranking he finished 14th.
He was a professional from 1958 to 1968 and took part in the Tour de France eight times . He ended his career in 1968 after being hit by a car while training.
He died of a heart attack while cycling.
