Raymond Pierre
Raymond Pierre (born September 19, 1967 ) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1987 he won bronze at the Universiade in Zagreb and won the Pan American Games in Indianapolis both in the individual competition and in the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in Rome , he was part of the US relay, which eventually won gold.
Starting for Baylor University , he became NCAA champion in 1989 .
At the World Indoor Championships in Seville in 1991 , he won silver with the US 4 x 400 meter relay.
