Raymond de Pezzer

Raymond de Pezzer (born November 21, 1885 in Paris , † August 5, 1924 in Cambo-les-Bains ) was a French composer.

Life

Raymond de Pezzer studied music at the Paris Conservatory and at the same time law at the Sorbonne , where in 1911 he submitted a dissertation entitled L'Opéra devant la loi et la jurisprudence , which appeared in print that same year. In 1914 he won the First Second Grand Prix de Rome with the cantata Psyché . Between 1915 and 1918 there was no competition for the prize, de Pezzer's participation in 1919 was unsuccessful.

In 1920 Ricordi in Paris published a collection of songs by de Pezzer.
