Rebutia huasiensis is a species of plant in the genus Rebutia from the cactus family(Cactaceae).

description

Rebutia huasiensis grows individually with depressed spherical, dark gray-green bodies. The bodies reach a diameter of up to 3 centimeters and have beet roots. The approximately 13 ribs are arranged in a spiral and divided into round humps. The oval areoles on it are white. The 7 to 9  thorns are spread out and almost on the surface of the body. They are thin, brown, darker at the tip, later graying and 3 to 5 millimeters long.

The red flowers are up to 3 centimeters long and reach a diameter of up to 3.5 centimeters. The spherical fruits are green and have a diameter of up to 6 millimeters.

Distribution and systematics

Rebutia huasiensis is widespread in Bolivia in the Chuquisaca department in the Sud Cinti province at altitudes of 3300 meters, where it grows in puna vegetation. The first description was published in 1977 by Walter Rausch (* 1928).
