Radusz (Kołczygłowy)

Radusz ( German  Reddies ) is a village in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Kołczygłowy (community Alt Kolziglow) in the powiat Bytowski (Bütower district) .

The village is located in Western Pomerania , about 200 km northeast of Szczecin and about 95 km west of Gdansk .

Until 1938, Reddies formed its own rural community in the Rummelsburg district in the Prussian province of Pomerania . In 1925 there were 373 inhabitants in 75 households in Reddies. In addition to Reddies, there were the residential areas Charlottenhof , Jägerhaus , Karlshof , Siedler Abbau , Stübken and Windmühle in the community . On October 1, 1938, Reddies was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Alt Kolziglow .

In 1945 the Reddies, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse Line , came to Poland. Reddies received the Polish place name "Radusz".
