The Reformed Church in Filisur in the canton of Grisons is an Evangelical - Reformed church , which was originally the St. Martin was consecrated.

History and equipment

The structure of the church is high medieval . In 1489 the choir was rebuilt and the tower enlarged. The church was renovated in 1746 and last restored in 1956.

The ship is adorned with Italian wall paintings from the decades before the Reformation . The baroque pulpit dates from 1746. The church has two organs : a house organ in the choir from the end of the 18th century and an organ in the gallery from 1956.

Church organization

Filisur forms a parish under the name Filisur-Albula , together with villages in the vicinity, in which the Reformed form a diaspora . Filisur belongs to the Colloquium X Davos-Albula within the Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden .
