The Refuge d'Arrémoulit is a refuge belonging to the Pau section of the Club Alpin Français . It is located in France in the Pyrenees in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine and is accessible from the Cabane de Caillou de Soques (1400 m) on the D934 the Col du Pourtalet or from d'Artouste Lac in 1½ hours.
Features and information
The hut is open from the beginning of June to the end of September. The power is supplied by solar power so that emergency calls can be made even though the area is not covered by the cellular network.
Access
The cottage is the Ossau Valley near the Col du Pourtalet be reached in 3 to 4 hours, from the Cabane de Caillou de Soques ( 1400 m starting on the rope secured}) Passage d'Orteig , from Lac d'Artouste is the hut accessible in 1.5 hours by the Petit train d'Artouste , then along the lake and along the Lacs d'Arrémoulit.
