The Refuge de la Dent d'Oche is a refuge of the Léman section of the Club Alpin Français in the French Alps. It is located in the Haute-Savoie department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes in the municipality of Bernex below the Dent d'Oche .

history

The hut was built in 1913 after recognition in 1910 by a group from the Club Alpin Français . It was inaugurated in 1914. The current location was chosen because the hut is visible there from most of the shores of Lake Geneva , from Nyon to Évian-les-Bains .

While the hut is being serviced, usually in the summer months, hot meals are offered. The refuge is closed in unsafe conditions.

Access

The Refuge Dent d'Oche can be reached from Bernex via the Fétiuère car park, which is located at an altitude of 1206 m . The ascent takes around three hours.
