The Wörthersee Piraten are a basketball club from Klagenfurt in Carinthia , which was founded in 1978 as ABC Klagenfurt. From 1981 to 2011 the club was constantly represented in the A-League. The club celebrated its greatest successes with the runner-up title in the 2000/01 season and two-time cup finals (1999, 2003). The club currently plays in the second division .
