The Regent Reef (from the English loosely translated Herrscherriff ) is a reef out from under the sea lying or temporarily washed over the sea cliff rocks in Marguerite Bay before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies on the northeast end of the Dion Islands off the southern end of Adelaide Island .
A Royal Navy hydrographic unit carried out surveys in 1963. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 based on the naming of the surrounding islands, the names of which are derived from the terms of a court .
