Rain bird

Regenvogel is a traditional name for various bird species in German-speaking countries, whose distinctive calls announce imminent rain and bad weather fronts. In some regions these birds are called "thunderstorm bird", "rain wolf" or "water wolf". There are names for these bird species in different language areas. In English they are called "Rainbird".
