course

The Reggenbach rises in the Hohen Grube, which is located between the Schinagl , the Steingrubenkogel , the Quirl and the Ogasilspitze (from southwest to southeast). In the area of the Hohen Grube there are several source streams on the slopes of the above-mentioned peaks, which flow into smaller mountain lakes or flow out of them. The northernmost source brook of the Reggenbach rises between Steingrubenkogel and Quirl and then flows off in a southerly direction. After merging with other source streams, the Reggenbach plunges south into the Virgental, where it takes on another source stream on the right side, which flows from a larger mountain lake in the Hohen Gruben and falls over a waterfall. To the west below the Ochsnerhütte the Reggenbach flows into the Isel on the left.
