The Ogasilspitze , formerly also Oggerfileberg , ( 3032 m above sea level ) is a mountain peak of the Maurerkamm in the Venediger group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger . Neighboring peaks are the Quirlwand in the north, the Quirl and the Steingrubenkogel in the northwest and the Schinakel in the west.
location
The Ogasilspitze is a rock trapezoid at the end of the southern masonry ridge. It is located southeast of the Quirl ( 3251 m above sea level ), with which the Ogasilspitze is connected by the northwest ridge. The Quirlsattel ( 2917 m above sea level ), also known as the Hohe Grubenscharte, separates the Quirl from the Ogasilspitze. To the west of the northeast ridge of the Ogasilspitze is the cirque of the Hohen Grube with some mountain lakes, to the east is the Hochkar, which also houses smaller mountain lakes. In the south, the Ogasilspitze slopes down to the Umbaltal .
Promotion opportunities
The Ogasilspitze was first climbed on July 15, 1904 by I. Hechenbleikner, although the summit is rarely climbed and has no tourist relevance. The normal route to the Ogasilspitze leads from the Clarahütte on the Hüttensteig around two kilometers out of the valley to the Reggenbach Falls. From here the ascent follows to the right of the stream over grass slopes to the north and pathless to the cirque of the Hohen Grube. From the Hohen Grube it is now possible to climb to the Quirlsattel, from where the northeast ridge of the Ogasilspitze is climbed to the summit ( I ). As a variant, the schrofige southern flank (can for the rise of the High Pit I ) are used.
