Data

The ship with home port Strasbourg is 99.87 m long, 9.00 m wide and has a displacement of 800 tons with a draft of 0.90 m. The usable area on three decks is 1500 m². The dining room is set up in the apartment at the stern of the ship. In the engine room below - the machines are no longer in operation - a breathing exercise course was created. In front of it are the training rooms below deck. There is a practice pool on deck in which leaks can be simulated. Furthermore, a container was set up on deck that can be tilted in all directions in order to carry out rescue exercises in slipped cargo. In the front third of the ship, pipelines are installed like on a tanker. Various dangerous situations can be generated there. The gas-powered fire training system is then installed in a two-story deckhouse. The ship can be moved to various ports along the Rhine with a push boat .

Courses

The ship can be rented for courses and moved to the appropriate course location. Courses at the MÜB will take place at three locations on the Upper Rhine:
