Life

From 1987 onwards, this fair resulted in a book lending facility, initially at her home, later in the old town hall of Kalbach.
Even before her first children's book was published in 1987, she was the initiator of children's writing competitions together with the trade union magazine metall .
Regina Rusch was the founder of the first German children's book award in 1988, which consists of a purely children's jury, the Kalbach rattlesnake . She headed the club for 12 years.
In her books for children and young people she mainly dealt with the topic of tolerance .
