Reginald Gray, 7th Baron Gray the Wilton (* 1421 ; † 1493 ) was an English nobleman .

Life

Sir Reginald was a son of Richard Gray, 6th Baron Gray de Wilton .

He inherited the title of Baron Gray de Wilton in 1442 after the death of his father and was under Henry VI. (England) called to Parliament nine times from 1445. In the Wars of the Roses , Baron Gray de Wilton fought for the House of York at the Battle of Mortimer's Cross (1461) and Towton (1461).

Also under the kings Edward IV , Richard III. and Henry VII , Baron Gray de Wilton was regularly called to the House of Lords .

Reginald Gray, 7th Baron Gray de Wilton died in 1493 and was buried in Bletchley , Buckinghamshire .

Marriage and offspring

Sir Reginald Gray, 7th Baron Gray de Wilton was married to Tacine.

Some sources say that Tacine was a daughter of Owen Tudor and Catherine de Valois , others say that Tacine was an illegitimate, foreign born daughter of John Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset , and there is also an Act of the Privy Council on this dated June 20, 1443
