Reginald Hoare
Sir Reginald Hervey Hoare KCMG (born July 19, 1882 - † August 12, 1954 ) was a British diplomat .
Life
Reginald Hervey Hoare was the son of Charles Hoare (1844-1898), senior partner of C. Hoare & Co. Reginald Hoare studied at Eton College . He joined the foreign service in 1905. In 1922 he married Lucy Joan Cavendish-Bentinck. From 1931 to 1934 he was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary in Tehran, Persia.
From 1934 to 1941 he was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary in Bucharest , Romania . After Charles II abdicated on September 6, 1940, he was withdrawn from Bucharest. In 1941 he was retired .
