West Palatinate region

The planning region West Palatinate is one of the five planning regions in Rhineland-Palatinate that are entrusted with regional spatial planning and structural policy . Geographically it corresponds to the western part of the Palatinate of the same name with the districts of Kaiserslautern , Kusel , Südwestpfalz and the Donnersbergkreis , as well as the independent cities of Pirmasens , Kaiserslautern and Zweibrücken . The administrative headquarters are in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse at the Structure and Approval Directorate South , but the office is in Kaiserslautern.
