The Reichsbahn-SG Pfersee was a football - war game community from the Augsburg district Pfersee that in the season 1944/45 at the Bavarian-Swabian season of Gauliga , the top division in the German Reich , took part. The season was canceled in the final months of the Second World War .
history
When more and more young men were called up as soldiers for military service in the final phase of the Second World War , the Bavarian Gauligist TSV Pfersee Augsburg, like many sports clubs in the German Reich, had personnel bottlenecks. In order to be able to maintain game operations, the club merged with an operating team of the Deutsche Reichsbahn to form a war game community called Reichsbahn-SG Pfersee for the 1944/45 season . After the end of the Second World War in 1945, the syndicate was dissolved again.

The Reichsbahn-SG Pfersee took part in the last season of the Gauliga Bayern, which was held in several seasons due to the war. In the Schwaben season, the syndicate was the fourth team from the Swabian capital alongside KSG BC / Post Augsburg , TSG Augsburg 1885 and TSV Schwaben Augsburg . When the game was stopped due to the war, the Reichsbahn-SG Pfersee had played six games and was in sixth and penultimate place. It should be noted, however, that most of the other teams in the season had played seven or more games at this point, the leaders TSV Schwaben even ten.
