The TSV Pfersee Augsburg in 1885 in the district Pfersee the Bavarian city of Augsburg created. The football department in particular celebrated sporting successes : the men's team was a southern Bavarian Gauligist in the 1940s , while the women's football department played at times in the Regionalliga Süd . The club also has teams in rhythmic gymnastics , table tennis and volleyball .
Men's soccer
The TSV Pfersee belonged in season 1943-44 as an Augsburg of four clubs in the Gauliga southern Bavaria and joined for the season 1944/45 with an operating crew of the Deutsche Reichsbahn to a war game community together, which Reichsbahn-SG Pfersee called. In the 1972/73 season, the club gave a year-long guest appearance in the Bavarian State League South .
Women's soccer
The women's and girls' teams of TSV Pfersee are considered to be the most successful in the administrative region of Swabia , alongside those of local rivals TSV Schwaben Augsburg . The first women's team played briefly in the Regionalliga Süd, but rose from there within two years via the Bayern to the Landesliga.
Table tennis
TSV Pfersee has two men's and one junior teams. In the 2007/08 season, both the first and second men's teams were promoted from the district league to the district league; meanwhile (2010/11 season) the first men's team only plays in the 2nd district league, the second team in the 4th District League - the thirteenth and therefore lowest league.
