Reinersreuth is a district of the Sparneck market in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
The village lies at the foot of the Waldstein . The through road HO 20 connects Zell im Fichtelgebirge with Sparneck and Weißenstadt . Reinersreuth belongs to Sparneck by post and has no subdivision into street names . The place is parish to Zell.
A documentary mention does not take place until March 22nd, 1419, but before that there is several mention of a collective directory with the villages belonging to Waldstein. The bear catch was partly supervised by a fall master from Reinersreuth. Since 1902 there was a post office in the village and from 1951 to 1985 a post office with counter operation. The Reinersreuther Granitwerke was an important employer for a long time and has led to an increase in population since it was founded in 1889 in the course of industrialization . Even after the Second World War, the population increased again due to the settlement of displaced people. There was a stop on the Münchberg – Zell railway line , which was in operation from 1902 to 1971.
In the immediate vicinity of the cable car to Waldstein there is a memorial stone for the farmer Johann Konrad Dietel, who was slain and robbed here on April 29, 1883. The enthusiasm for airships (see also Georg Hacker ) led in 1909 to the planting of a zeppelin oak because of the crossing of the ship LZ5 - ZII, which is indicated by a zeppelin stone.
