Reinhard Schlueter

Reinhard Schlüter (born January 20, 1821 in Kleve ; † November 1, 1890 in Essen ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schlüter attended high school in Kleve and studied law in Heidelberg and Berlin from 1841 to 1844. He was appointed assessor in 1848 and worked as a lawyer and notary from 1850. From 1850 to 1858 he was in Heiligenstadt , from 1858 to 1878 in Witten and since then in Essen. From 1871 to 1877 he was a member of the Provincial Landtag of Westphalia and from 1871 to 1878 a member of the Westphalian Provincial Administrative Committee. Between 1873 and 1879 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Arnsberg 4, Hagen, and from 1881 to 1887 of the German Reichstag for the Düsseldorf 1 constituency ( Remscheid , Lennep , Mettmann ) and the German Progressive Party .
