Reinhild Ahlers

Reinhild Ahlers (born April 29, 1959 in Meppen ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and university professor .

Life

From 1978 to 1983 she studied Catholic theology in Eichstätt and Innsbruck . From 1984 to 1989 she was a research assistant at the Chair of Canon Law in Eichstätt. From 1989 to 1994 she was a consultant for canon law in the Episcopal Vicariate General in Münster. From 1992 to 1994 she studied canon law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University (WWU) in Münster . Since 1994 she has headed the Canon Law Department of the Münster diocese and teaches at the Philosophical-Theological University of Münster (PTH Münster) and at the University of Münster.

Her main areas of work are sacraments, constitutional law, religious orders and association law.
