Klaus Lüdicke

Klaus Lüdicke (born June 18, 1943 in Bad Warmbrunn ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and canon lawyer .

Life

After leaving school, Lüdicke studied Catholic theology and law in Münster and Munich . He completed a specialist degree in canon law in Munich in 1977 with a doctorate. In 1983 he received his habilitation at the University of Graz. From 1980 to 2008 he was a professor at the Institute for Canon Law (IKR) of the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . He was one of the main initiators of the special course Licentiate in Canon Law , which was set up in the winter semester 1991/92 and which the institute carries out under its own administration according to the requirements of the Apostolic Constitution Sapientia Christiana . Together with a similar course at the LMU Munich , the training center enables ecclesiastically and state-recognized postgraduate training to become a Roman Catholic canon lawyer in Germany. Even after his retirement, Lüdicke continued to teach at the IKR and remained an employee of the ecclesiastical court of the diocese of Münster . In 2011, Lüdicke signed the memorandum Church 2011: A necessary departure .
