Reinhilde Schildhauer-Gaffrey (born August 22, 1947 in Erfurt , † July 18, 2003 in Velten ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Schildhauer initially completed vocational training as an electrician from 1965 to 1968 , then from 1969 to 1972 she studied electrical engineering at a technical college . She then worked as an assistant until 1975, then as a training engineer until 1988. From 1988 to 1990 she worked as a subject teacher.

From 1990 until 1991 Schildhauer was deputy mayor in Velten . From 1994 to 1998 she was a member of the district council of the Oberhavel district and since 1994 she has also been a city ​​councilor in Velten.

In the state elections in Brandenburg in 1990 , she was elected as a direct candidate for the SPD in constituency 11 (Oranienburg I) in the Brandenburg state parliament, to which she had been a member since October 26, 1990. In the 1994 and 1999 elections she was able to win constituency 6 (Oberhavel II) and thus managed to return to the state parliament. In the state parliament she was deputy chairman of the committee for labor, health, social affairs and women from 1990 to 1999 and was a member of the committee until 2003. From 1994 to 1999 she was also deputy leader of the SPD parliamentary group .

Schildhauer-Gaffrey was married and had one child. She died on July 18, 2003.
