Reinhold Anrep

Reinhold Anrep († 1602 ) was an Estonian district administrator and Swedish field marshal .

Life

Anrep came from the German-Baltic noble family von Anrep . His father was the district administrator in Harrien and heir to Haehl , Fegfeuer and Sauß, Hermann von Anrep († 1573).

It was mentioned in a document in 1589 and on April 25, 1600, at Reval, sealed the transfer of the Estonian knighthood to the allegiance of Duke Charles of Södermannland . Like his father, he must also have held the position of an Estonian district administrator. In 1602 he fell with the rank of field marshal in the war against Poland .

From his father's inheritance he owned the Haehl estate and was also the heir to Waddemois .

Reinhold Anrep married Dorothea von Wrangell adH Ellistfer, with whom he had a daughter and a son:

  1. Margaretha († 1665), ⚭ Hermann von Fersen († after 1630), heir to Rayküll (parents of Otto Wilhelm von Fersen )
  2. Reinhold († before 1641), Swedish colonel, heir to Haehl, Payel and Haggud ⚭ Anna von Bremen († 1657)
