Reinhold Nickel

Reinhold Nickel (* 1913 ; † December 29, 1983 in East Berlin ) was a German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . From 1964 to 1967 he was chairman of the NDPD district committee in Potsdam .

Life

Nickel joined the National Democratic Party of Germany in 1949 and then held leading positions in the party. He was a member of the main committee, head of department at the main committee secretariat and from 1964 to 1967 chairman of the NDPD district committee in Potsdam (successor to Rudolf Schindler ). As deputy chairman of a residential area association in the Berlin-Köpenick district association of the NDPD, he was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze in 1978 .

Nickel died at the age of 70.
