The Relief Pass (English for pass of relief ) is a 1000 m high mountain pass in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cook Mountains of the Transantarctic Mountains , it is 1.5 km north of Bastion Hill in the Brown Hills .
Scientists in a campaign from 1962 to 1963 Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him. It was named after the feelings the scientists had after reaching the pass after a difficult ascent.
