Remeil (also Rmeil ; Arabic الرميل) is a district of the Lebanese capital Beirut . It is located in the eastern part of the city between the districts of Medawar in the north and Ashrafiyya in the south.

The districts of Mar Nicolas (sector 71), Orthodox Hospital (sector 74) and Getawi (sector 78) belong to Rmeil. The Sursock Palace , built in 1860 , the museum of the same name and the Saint-Nicolas Greek Orthodox Cathedral are located in Mar Nicolas.

There are also several well-known hospitals in the district, such as the Saint George Hospital University Medical Center and the Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui .
